The void represents the absence of Tan Sri Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Yeoh Tiong Lay who during his lifetime was the core of the corporation YTL Sdn Bhd.

The horizontal work is composed of 34 pieces of granite weighing over 110 tonnes. The 34 stone pieces represent the 7 children and 27 grandchildren at the time of Yeoh Tiong Lay’s death.

The vertical work symbolizes the seven children standing united and strong. They are represented by the seven stone pieces that form the void of the sculpture. The total weight is over 90 tonnes.
